Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ZephFlip — a community trading assistant for RuneScape 3, provided through our Discord community, bot, and website at zephflip.com (together, the "Service"), operated by ZephFlip ("we", "us"). By joining the community, using the bot, or subscribing to a paid tier, you agree to these Terms.
1. What ZephFlip is
ZephFlip provides market information and alerts to help you trade on the RuneScape 3 Grand Exchange — price checks, watchlists, crash/spike and fill alerts, profit leads, and personal trade tracking. ZephFlip is an information tool only. It does not play the game, place trades, or act on your account.
2. Not affiliated with Jagex
ZephFlip uses intellectual property belonging to Jagex Limited under the terms of Jagex's Fan Content Policy. ZephFlip is a fan-made project and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by Jagex. RuneScape and related names are trademarks of Jagex Ltd. You remain solely responsible for complying with Jagex's own rules and terms for your RuneScape account.
3. No financial or trading advice
Prices, margins, ROI, scores, and alerts are estimates and information, not advice or guarantees. Markets move, data can be delayed or wrong, and no result is assured. You trade at your own risk, and you are responsible for verifying every price in-game before you act. ZephFlip is not liable for any losses from your trading decisions.
4. Eligibility
You must be old enough to use Discord (at least 13, or the minimum age in your country) and, to purchase a subscription, at least 18 or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using the community.
5. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation
- Paid tiers (Poseidon, Hades, Zeus) are recurring subscriptions billed through our payment provider, upgrade.chat. Payment is handled by them; we do not receive or store your card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: Because ZephFlip is a digital subscription that unlocks access immediately, payments are generally non-refundable. You can cancel at any time to stop future billing, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We may still provide a refund at our discretion or where required by law.
- Prices and tier benefits may change; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't resell, share, or redistribute access to paid features or your subscription.
- Don't abuse, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to break the Service.
- Don't use ZephFlip for anything unlawful, or in a way that violates Discord's or Jagex's rules.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit (trade reports, prices, offers).
7. Intellectual property
The ZephFlip name, branding, artwork, and software are owned by us. RuneScape content referenced by the Service belongs to Jagex Ltd. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service while these Terms are in effect.
8. Service "as is"; availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uptime, accuracy, or that alerts will always fire — market data is a proxy and can be missed or delayed. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any in-game losses, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or remove your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
